Open Letter to the African Powerful Youth.

Quito, November 21, 2013.

Development is more than a sociopolitical terminology to guide treaties and international agendas on every negotiation table and forum. Development is a process of harmonization between the most influent elements which converge within the same system. But, how could we work for a harmonized development of our nations without being able to find this ideal flow inside ourselves?
Fortunately, the international community has grown more dynamic which allows the establishment of a more inclusive and vitalized scenario, from the youth's perspective.
I wish to express in a few lines my deep gratitude to the honorable African Union and especially to its youths for giving me the immense privilege to be invited to the Regional Youth Green Growth Forum at the UN Complex (Gigiri - Nairobi, Kenya), to speak in the context of the south-south cooperation about a highly important issue for our fraternal peoples.
When a State policy is driven through the development's pathway it is very important to understand that green growth is undeniably needed for the preservation of our environment and for the consecutive improvement of life conditions of our brothers and sisters.
From the South American paradise named Ecuador, where a different number of ecosystems that are rich on biodiversity coexist, we hold in great honor the accomplishment of dialogue spaces such as this forum. But regrettably, I will not be able to be present on this occasion for circumstances beyond our control have presented during the process of preparation for a long trip away from home.
Time is wise, and the dawn will have always something designated for us, the biggest change agents.

My sincerest gratitude  to a tireless young lady who I respect and appreciate with all my soul for giving me her hand on the way to my African Dream.
Asante sana Wanja Maina, asante sana Africa!.

Success,
Sebastian M Flores A.
